I'll be in the backwoods of Oregon for the next week and a half in a natural building course, hopefully a mind-blower. I'll be without email or phone for that time, for the most part. Much has been written over the centuries about the “tragedy of the commons.” Originally meant to describe a pasture shared by everyone in a village, it has since been used as metaphor for any shared space.
