I'm happy and proud to say that I am a "Big Glow Community Member." Thank you for sharing this journey with me. While I do not get to attend retreats often, please know that my heart is with you and I wish you the most exciting and awe-inspiring journey. I can also be reached through my website where I can be found inspiring, building community and encouraging others to take steps in the direction of authenticity. I'm not certain how far I would have gotten without Brian Piergrossi's example and daring or without the community he's worked so hard to attract and retain (as anyone feels called "to be retained" that is). Yes! I count myself blessed!
I read a blog I wrote and posted here when I was preparing to move out of my mother's apartment and thought I'd update those who might be interested.
The apartment I moved into is a great way for me to celebrate the freedom I so desperately need to continue developing myself but the neighborhood isn't as nice as I'd hoped for. The building is not cared for but it's more than some people have for the amount of money I pay per month. Built-in community is sketchy at best. My…

Three days ago I was having a conversation with my mother about the fact that I have been unsuccessful at saving up money to help contribute to the two day trip she and I we will be on towards the end of the month. I'd been hoping to save for food expenses. She has already paid for our room.

Just so you all know up front, I felt some resistance to book the flight to this retreat because I knew that once I booked I fully committed to attend this retreat, there was no going back to the life I'd been living.
