I think I was alway conscious from the time I was six. I can remember feeling different from other children at a young age. I wondered what they found so funny in cartoons and other things that would make them laugh. I can remember staring quite frequently in the mirror wondering who was inside of me. I must have been Aware of my Upper Self. I was painfully shy and I realize now it WAS because I could sense negative thoughts directed at me.
