'Scuse me while I go all Commonwealth for a second... ;-)

...but I am right chuffed (lol) to have the absolute pleasure of introducing you to one of my most succulent friends, Miss Leonie! She is a complete treasure-trove of juicy creations, a fabulous Priestess in her own right, and a Light so bright you might have to wear sunglasses when she's really glowing! (which she has been a lot recently, being totally with child and all...!)

And to do a spot of shameless promotion, do please check her out on www.goddessguidebook.com. This is a s… Continue

All right, it hasn't been the easiest...

My mind says it's only been a week or so since the retreat.
It feels like it's been longer than that.

Initially, I was doing a lot of walking between the worlds, feeling here-but-not-here, if you know what I mean. This culminated in a pair of very juicy Samhain (Halloween) rituals. This past Sunday, though, I finally came back "down to earth," if you will - and it felt as though I'd awakened in the center of an empty circle, alone.

These past few days especially have been challenging, a… Continue

Windsong (un creation des words)

Pardon me,
But the wind is blowing
And I need to step outside
To listen to his song...

The low, steady roar
Of dynamic movement
Echoes in my ears;
The gentle cool caress
Of an invisible lover's hand
Brushes against my bare skin;

But it's in moving through the trees
That the wind's song sounds the sweetest --
For the wind gifts the trees with Voice,
As branches sway and leaves shimmy.
Pine trees whisper a lullaby;
Maple trees chatter happily.
All the trees' voices reminding me
Of the one soft v… Continue

my feminism

When I say I am a feminist, this is what I mean:

I take delight in my body, honor and respect its wisdom, and cherish what I experience as I move through the world in it. I recognize my sensuality and take opportunities to play.

I remember my innate Power, recover it from Shadow, and reclaim it. I step into all of my Authenticity and declare it mine. My Power is creative and destructive and originates from the core of my being.

I proclaim the beauty of the Mysteries and revel in the Sa… Continue

Extremely exciting indeed!
Thank you for the add, dear Victoria!
Happy 11:11:11 (33) - the opportunity to be in contact with Heaven and the elevated beings - enjoy!

TRULY WONDROUS

Sometimes
I want to smile,
But how to do it -
My inner child
Is badly crying.

Sometimes
I want to wail,
But how to do it -
My jolly heart
Is nicely dwelling.

Sometimes
I take a shower
Of pure whiteness
And have the power
To bring the sunshine.

All times
I send Light fires,
I see the wonder
Of turning tears
In soulful diamonds.

All times
I let love flowing,
It comes to me
And makes my life
So rich and glowing.

All times
I live in ONENESS,
Inside, outside -
I see the world
As truly wondrous.

Love and Joy,
Iza

Hola;
I first began studying the I Ching back in 1991..I enrolled in a course ( 32 hrs over a 4 month period ) at the Open Center in NYC ( www.opencenter.org ).
We used the Wilhelm/Baynes transalation which is still my main source and foundation...We also studied Richard Wilhelm's classic translation, 'The Secret of The Golden Flower'.
These days I am using two other translations as well. Carol K. Anthony's "Guide to The I Ching" which is based on the terminology used by Wilhelm and 'I Ching - The Book of Answers' by Wu Wei.
I use two different methods- the coin and the yarrow stalks method...The yarrow stalk method is much lengthier and complex but it's the original method dating back thousands of years...and it's more accurate.

I also like the yarrow stalks because the movements of one's hands is intricate and can become a beautiful meditation in itself...When you are totally immersed and mindful af your hand movements as you handle the yarrow sticks, it is just like the Japanese tea ceremony--a spiritual experience.

I've consulted the I Ching during some difficult times in my path over the past 15 yrs but I have found that when I am centered and in harmony with the Tao ( Universe ), I do not need to consult it---things simply become clear and are in harmony...When I am fully engaged and in harmony with the universe, life flows naturally I have great clarity.
I maintain my mental, spiritual and physical balance with daily sitting meditation, Tai Chi ( which I teach ) and Nei Kung.

I have also done readings professionally for people on occasion.

Beside using the book as an oracle for divination, I found it to be a valuable source for Taoist wisdom...Tai Chi Chuan, for example, is a taoist discipline based on the I Ching principles and philosophy...

I'm not familiar with the book you mentioned-- the one by Fritz Bloq...I tried googling it but couldnt find it...

Hi Sky ;) nice to meet you...

You mentioned the I Ching. Do you consult the I Ching yourself? If so, which translations do you use?

I have a special interest in this oracle and Book of Wisdom.
