Have you ever been exploited by a Psychic?

I have been exploited by a Psychic and this is exactly why I after many years have decided to write about it.

A couple of years ago I decided to try out a couple of the people advertising for free psychic readings. Now my expectations were to get a small snippet of something which would be true and then they would try to sell me more. I have absolutely no problems with this, as we all need to live. What I got however made me feel exploited by the psychics.

I tried five different psychics mainly because I wanted to test what they would give of information as a free sample to me. Out of the five psychics one gave me something that I felt was true to me, the other five gave me a computerized generated snippet of something which did not relate to me, or did relate very little.

In common for all of them was a paragraph or two saying something to the fact that they saw something major in my near future, which they really wanted to tell me but couldn’t tell without my consent. It was very important that I reacted quickly as it was in my very near future and I had to act now to avoid the disaster they saw or in other cases to be able to take advantage of the opportunity ahead which would give me great wealth.

Now I did not initially sign up for the psychic readings because I wanted answers, but because I was curious to see what you would get from a free reading, so I had no desire to pay money to get more information.

What happened next was a massive e-mail approach always with a threat that if I did not act now, they would not be able to help me and my life was in bigger and bigger danger the longer I ignored their emails and time went by.

Now this was some years ago and I did not fall in to the temptation to buy any of their further readings as I had no need for it, but also because I started to get angry. I got angry because I knew that I am capable of getting my own answers, but lots of people are not. I was not in a vulnerable position when I asked for the readings and many people are and I started to feel exploited and I did not sign up for that.

I blocked four of the psychics and decided to see how long the other would keep it up before they stopped sending me emails. A year down the line, I was still receiving emails, but by now the emails have started to have the same wordings as some I had received earlier. I suppose they ran out of auto-generated messages and had to re-use. I actually found this very funny at first, but then anger took over knowing that they would be exploiting vulnerable people tricking them into buying their product out of fear that their life may end up even worse then it was already.

I am writing this article because I the other day saw one of the psychic that I earlier on had tried out and felt hugely disappointed with was advertising again. Every spiritual site I went on to, this add seemed to pop up and for that reason I have decided to write about what I personally think people should be aware of when they ask a psychic for help.

Before doing that, I will add, there are many really exceptional good psychics out there who really do want to help and support you. So what to be aware of?
A psychic with the heart in the right place, in my view:
• Does never talk about doomsday
• Tries to empower you
• Does not tell you what you have to do, but suggest what you can do
• Are there to give you a service and support to you
• Honesty, Compassion, Serenity and Integrity is a natural trait of the psychic.
• Gives you the possibility to give feedback and ask additional questions to the reading – as a psychic knows they are interpretating and can at times be mistaken and want to ensure this does not happen.
• Attempts to give you tools to work with
• Does not hold back information received during the reading you asked for, to be able to use it for more sales … they trust that the information received is important to give to you, that is why they received it
• Care about you
• Does not use auto generated readings, but get it straight from source

Now I always think it is up to every single person to use their own judgment, their own intuition or gut feeling and think for themselves if something does not seem right, trust that.

I have recently opened up for giving intuitive readings, I took a decision to do this because I wanted to attempt to be a counteract to the psychics who exploits people. I did it because I wanted to show that we are many who just want to do what we can to help and support others out of compassion to them. I do not see giving readings as my life purpose and giving readings is not where my abilities are best used. However I know that I do a heck of a better job at this then the psychics whom I felt exploited by years ago and I know that I will do what I can to offer you some support in your situation.

My power or ability when doing readings is mainly looking within you, looking at your emotions in a situation, your actions in a situation or what you need of inner development to work on to get the outcome you desire or hope for. Personally I do not believe in seeing the future for you, I believe in supporting you, empowering you to be your own creator of your future. I see myself more as an empath than a psychic, but do receive messages and images to support what I sense and feel. What I attempt to do with my readings is to shift your perspective, trying to provide you with a different platform to build from.

I am trying to open you eyes to the fact that not all psychics are out to exploit you; some do it because they care. I so hope that you, if you are seeking information from a psychic, follow your gut feeling, and go look for the one who is the right one for you. It is not always the one with the flashy advertisement who is the right one to help you, so please trust your gut feeling, don’t end up getting selfish people exploiting you.

Please note that not all psychics giving a free sample reading to sell more are out to exploit you. Being a psychic is a business for many and they need to sell, I see nothing wrong with this. However the free sample should be authentic and you should feel that you already know it all or most of it, it has to ring true within you.

When you get a reading from a psychic use your own judgment, take what you can use, what rings true to you and leave the rest. Don’t get exploited by a psychic, take care to trust your gut feeling before asking for a reading.

I hope I with this article am able to help at least some few people to follow their gut feeling and own judgment. I am hoping to opening up your eyes to avoid getting exploited by a psychic who is not looking out for YOUR best interest.
