World: Peace Love Happiness

I currently live in a world where people don't trust me. Nor do they trust themselves. And as a result none of us learn how to trust.

I see this non-trust at play all around me; I see it as my own shadow. Perhaps we are yelling at and to each other: "I'm tired of being nobody! I *am* incredible! And the reason I know that is because I know how lousy my fellow beings can be! They don't love me! They don't support me! They lie to me! They get in the way of my success!"

But what we fail to understand is that we don't believe in ourselves because we have simply never been taught how to do that.
Until we change how we see each other, until we unteach ourselves violence within self and with each other, until we speak with love in our hearts and in our voices, love in our words and in our gestures, there will never be peace, love or true happiness in this world.

I don't say these words to frighten myself or to frighten you. I say it with respect and love. I say it out loud to myself. I say it in hopes that if what I've written here is true even in one heart, mine, someone will bare witness to my words.
